Welcome to the Business Studies, Law and Accounting Department. We offer a number of courses, including;
- AS/A2 Business,
- BTEC National Certificate in Business,
- BTEC First Diploma in Business,
- AS/A2 Law
- AS/A2 Accounting.
These are very popular subjects in the college and attract students from all disciplines. The above subjects cover a wide range of very interesting topics from
Criminal Law to Retailing, Published Accounts through to Marketing. All courses are delivered by tutors who have a wealth of teaching and industry experience and teach the subjects with real drive and enthusiasm.
Within the department, numerous trips and talks are arranged throughout the year including;
- Business trip to Disneyland Paris,
- Departmental trip to New York,
- Residential trips to London,
- Day trip to Chill Factor E,
- The Trafford Centre,
- Preston Crown Courts,
- Chester Zoo.
The department encourages regular visiting guest speakers to bring the subject topics to life in the classroom.
