Welcome to the English and Critical Thinking Department. English is one of the largest departments in the College offering a full range of courses that will allow you to develop your personal enthusiasms and ideas. The department offers a number of courses including AS/A2 English Language, English Literature, English Language and Literature, alongside AS Critical Thinking and GCSE English. These are very popular subjects within the college and attract students from different subject areas.
All courses are delivered by highly qualified and experienced teachers, who possess a real passion and enthusiasm for their subject.
If you enjoy argument and discussion, and working independently as well as sharing your ideas within a group, then you will thoroughly enjoy an English course.
