Robert Parkinson came 1st in the whole competition, while Aaron Lowe came 2nd in the 6th form category. Both runners are now going to represent Wigan & Leigh in the Greater Manchester cross country event in 2012.
LATEST NEWS:Joanna Millan, a Holocaust survivor, recently visited college to speak to over 100 History and Psychology students about her family background and her life in the Theresienstadt concentration camp.
A deeply moving and thought-provoking talk was followed by an opportunity for students to ask Joanna questions about her experiences in the camp and her life as a survivor of the Holocaust.
The talk provided a unique opportunity for students, and their reaction to Joanna’s testimony clearly showed it was something they will remember for the rest of their lives.
