The event was a great success
Students from the BTEC Business course at SJR planned a number of activities to raise money at a summer fair for Cardinal Heenan House, a residential care home in Roby Mill.
Visitors were able to pose as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in all their wedding finery and take home a treasured photo of the event. Students also organised and ran stalls, raising money by holding 'guess the number of jelly beans in the jar' and 'guess the name of the cuddly toy' competitions. The stall where children could buy a fairy cake and then personalise it by decorating it with icing and sweets was particularly popular.
All the students worked very hard, were a credit to the college and raised money for a very worthy cause.
