Music residential visit
to Hagg Farm
Students at Hagg Farm
The students enjoying the sunshine at Hagg Farm

This year saw an increased number of students on the music residential visit to Hagg Farm, and the additional participants increased the enjoyment of the trip. Staff took the Music Department to Hagg Farm in the wilds of Derbyshire to buckle down to some performance and composition work – and what work was created. Each night the students held a concert to showcase the work that had been done during the day and it’s a shame that more people couldn’t experience the performances.

We were lucky enough to be joined by our very own Peter McGhee (Principal) and Dominic Jones (Director of Quality and Curriculum) on Saturday. They were able to see some of the wonderful work being produced from the students at the residential.

Group work, solo work, performance work, lectures, team building – all went without a hitch, while new friendships were created on a wonderful weekend.
