Fourteen SJR students spent the day at the Wish FM studios with presenter Chris Milow and Creative Director Pete Craggs as part of the Wish FM Scholarship Programme, which is run jointly by college and the radio station.
The students created their own drive time shows and commercials. A surprise appearance by music star Labrinth added to the experience.
The students' adverts were listened to by Pete, and he chose one to be part of a college publicity campaign.
Tutor Emma Cairns said: "Students have really benefited from this industry experience, and from being part of the Wish Fm Scholarship Programme."]
Tom Fitzgerald, one of the participating students, added: "I learned so much working with Chris and the team, through creating our own show and an advert for the college. The experience will really help with my university application."
