The Science Department at St John Rigby College is a thriving and purposeful place. Our highly qualified, professional and supportive staff team share and enjoy exciting and relevant courses of study with enthusiastic, committed and hard-working students.

The Department continues to grow in size. We currently offer AS and A2 courses in Biology, Chemistry and Physics as well as level three Vocational Applied Science courses in Forensic Science and Applied Biology. We also offer a GCSE Single Award Science. All classes take place in well-equipped modern teaching laboratories.
